A glimpse into my eating habits

Being a Holistic Nutritionist and Herbalist I get a lot of questions about what I am eating.
So here is a little glimpse into one of my weekdays:

I usually get up around 7.00am I start my day with a cup of green tea made with Matcha Green Powder.
Around 7.30am I have a  WHOLE-GRAIN muesli which is filled with flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, dates.....an I use organic, unsweetened soy milk.

At 10.00am I eat a fruit salad like bananas, strawberries, grapes, papaya.

At 12.30pm I have a vegetable wrap like lettuce, olives, avocado, tomatoes on a whole-grain wrap with hummes.

At 3.30pm I always make myself a FRUIT/VEGETABLES SMOOTHIE blueberries, protein powder like VEGA (pea protein powder), coconutmilk, some spinach leaves, lots of strawberries

At 5.30pm Dinner which usually involves stir-fried vegetables with some grains like quinoa, buckwheat, couscous. My ratio of vegetables to grains is around 80/20. If I eat too many grains I get very hungry for cookies after eating!

At 9.00pm Goodnight Tea my own teablend with a few dark chocolate covered almonds

I do not eat everyday the same thing, but I try to eat 5 times a day since that keeps me energized throughout the day. I do have a sweet tooth, which I keep happy with dark chocolate covered nuts or fruit smoothies.
I noticed if I eat more frequently I burn my food faster and I feel less tired. Sure, there are occasions that I can not follow my eating routine but on those days I just go with the flow and try to be better the next day again.

Binge Eating is sometimes a cause of eating too much of one food group like protein or carbohydrates.
If you find yourself falling into the cookie jar after your dinner you certainly had too much carbohydrates or meat.
By eating lots of fibers your stomach gets the signal of being full easier, without having to go for a sugar fix.
Avoid dinners high in white flour, sugar, meat, dairy all of those items can turn you into a binge eater!

Have you ever had the experience of complete fatigue after eating?
If this happens to you, you just had a dinner with way too many calories and hard digestive proteins like cheese and meat. Try eating lighter at every meal but more frequently, you don't only feel better during the day, you will also notice nicer, shinier hair, less puffy eyes, less bloating, less yawning.........

Try it and let me know
